July 2019 brought a rare treat for the UK—an entire month of uninterrupted sunshine, making it the perfect setting for GOSFEST, our annual charity event in support of the Space Centre. The GOS team, along with friends and family, pulled out all the stops to make it a memorable day. With an amazing turnout, the event raised an impressive £1,780 for charity, showcasing the power of community spirit and generosity.

The glorious weather set the stage for all the essentials of a classic British summer party—delicious food, refreshing drinks, and fun-filled activities. From kids and adults alike enjoying the slip-and-slide to a hilarious inflatable sumo wrestling match, there was never a dull moment. Even the football game turned into a source of endless laughter as players hilariously struggled to stay on their feet, much to the delight of the audience.
