Easter at Burnedge Mews: A GOS Heating Community Project

At GOS Heating, we pride ourselves on not just delivering exceptional services but also supporting the communities we serve. In 2023, we partnered with Great Places Housing Group to undertake a significant renovation project at Burnedge Mews. The project involved installing a brand-new roof, upgrading all communal areas both inside and out, and enhancing car parks to improve accessibility and aesthetics.

Sensitivity and Thoughtfulness in Action

Our team understands the disruption such projects can cause to residents’ daily lives. With this in mind, our engineers approached the work with care and compassion, ensuring residents were regularly updated on progress and any potential inconveniences.

One unique challenge came in the form of a colony of bats nesting in the roof space. With environmental preservation in mind, we coordinated a successful bat rescue operation, causing some delays in the project timeline.

Spreading Easter Cheer

When Easter arrived, the GOS team decided to turn a potential inconvenience into a moment of joy. Acting as Easter bunnies for the day, our team distributed updates to residents along with delicious Easter eggs to brighten their day. While we drew the line at wearing rabbit costumes, the smiles on residents’ faces showed that our efforts made a difference.

Minimising Impact, Maximising Results

At GOS Heating, we aim to ensure every project is completed with minimal disruption to our customers. By maintaining open communication, showing empathy, and delivering high-quality results, we ensure that the outcome not only meets but exceeds expectations.
